KHARISMA College × Makassar Creative Hub: Create Smarter With Artificial Intelligence

A collaboration that has now run its AI workshop for Makassar SME owners twice, from building a business landing page with AI through to effective prompting technique.

The collaboration

Create Smarter With Artificial Intelligence is not a one-off booking. It is an ongoing collaboration between KHARISMA College (STMIK KHARISMA Makassar), Makassar Creative Hub, and WithMi Automation, and it has now run twice at the Amphitheater Makassar Creative Hub on the Losari waterfront.

The partnership was also formalised during the event through an MoU signing between KHARISMA College and WithMi Automation. The collaboration has a long-term frame, rather than being a single speaking invitation.

The most recent run, Batch 3, themed Merdeka Berkarya, UMKM Naik Kelas, took place on 13 August 2026 and was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor of Makassar, Aliyah Mustika Ilham. The session was free and open to 50 SME owners, co-delivered with Abdul Munir S., S.Kom., M.T. of STMIK KHARISMA Makassar.

The problem discussed

Most SME owners already know their business needs a digital presence. What holds them back is not awareness but three assumptions that all feel expensive: that you have to learn to code first, that you need a costly laptop and a hired developer, and that the project will drag on for months before anything ships.

The session takes all three apart up front. Not by insisting AI is magic, but by showing that work which genuinely used to require a technical team can now be finished by the owner in a matter of hours, provided the reasoning behind it is right.

Session flow

The material runs in three steps that build on each other. First, building a business landing page with AI, until participants have a page they can actually sell from rather than an example on a screen. Second, sharpening digital marketing strategy with AI, so that page gets visitors.

Third, the technique of writing effective prompts. This comes last on purpose, because it locks in the first two: once participants understand how to give AI clear instructions, they can repeat the process themselves for new needs without waiting for the next workshop.

Takeaway

Participants leave with three concrete things: a business landing page ready to sell from, hands-on experience with AI tools, and a network of fellow SME owners working through the same problems.

Media coverage of Batch 3 is available at Harian Fajar and Lintas Celebes.

For campuses, creative communities, or local governments wanting to run a similar program for SME owners, this format works because participants leave with an output, not just notes. Discuss your event needs through the contact page.
